About Keenan

Keenan Johnson is an International Baccalaureate (IB) student with a strong passion for Astrophysics, Astroparticle Physics, Quantum Mechanics, and the fundamental laws that govern the Universe. Fascinated by questions about dark matter, the origins of the cosmos, and the nature of reality, he enjoys exploring advanced scientific concepts both inside and outside the classroom. He is also interested in science communication and education, believing that curiosity and understanding are key to inspiring future scientists. He’s written and designed books on particle physics, designed merchandise for multiple companies, including Dr. Interested, and has an extensive background in video editing and graphic design for social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube, along with excellent communication and public speaking skills. He is an Athletic Council executive, a SHAD alumnus, a part of his school’s robotics team, and scored in the top 15 in a provincial physics competition; he was a part of his middle school’s gifted program before switching to the IB Programme, and partakes in rock climbing and parkour in his free time. Through research, exploration, and lifelong learning, Keenan hopes to contribute to our understanding of the Universe while sharing his enthusiasm for science with others.
